Reported by: 9News Web produced by: Mark Sickmiller Photographed by: 9News First posted: 3/3/2006 4:39:38 PM Butler County Sheriff's deputies are looking for clues in the Great Miami River to an unsolved murder. Only 9News was there Friday as they searched the river just south of Elizabethtown. They're looking for clues in the case of Alana Gwinner, 23, who was last seen at a Fairfield bowling alley in 1997. Deputies believe she and her car may have been dumped in the Great Miami or Ohio river. While Friday's search didn't turn up anything, detectives think the water level needs to subside more more. They say they'll be back. Police recently put up a billboard in Hamilton offering a reward for information leading to Gwinner's killer. www.wcpo.com/news/2006/local/03/03/clues.html
