11-year-old girl reported missing
HAMILTON — Police are searching for an 11-year-old Hamilton girl who disappeared Wednesday morning.
Jessica Lynn Hicks, 11, disappeared around 7:55 a.m. while waiting at a bus stop on Boniker Street, according to the Hamilton Police Department.
Hicks — who lives with her grandfather and stepgrandmother — was waiting for the bus to take her to Van Buren Elementary School, a relative said Thursday night.
The relative said a man who works near the bus stop said he saw Hicks conversing with a Hispanic male. According to the relative, the man said he saw her walk with the Hispanic male and get into a car, where another Hispanic male was waiting, and drove off.
“We have entered her into the national crime information center, which is standard procedure for a missing person,” said Dave Crawford, HPD spokesman.
Hicks is a white female, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 127 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last wearing a pink shirt with a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Hicks is asked to call the HPD at (513) 868-5811.
